So many things to post since I came back from the trip, let's start from Guides Camp :D


The first day

Durga, Dana, LM, Taopang and I were at the first aid course, which I remarkably, was able to pass. So did the rest (:

There was this really annoying sec1 red cross girl whom kept on *uhem* to the whole world that she got only 2 wrong :/

I managed a 22/30. But a lot of pple got a higher score than me :(

I passed the practical the first time round though.

But ____ was being an irate ____. :(

The teacher was absolute horrid, I swear. Just ask any of the pple who took the first aid course.

And some people forgot to call the ambulance. LOL :)

After the course, went to find the other guides.

Only about 1/2 the company came, most of them the sec1s.

even the sec2s had ard 15 people only :(

I counted, there were around 40-50people only?

I played the mind-boggling games with the sec1s. Haha they loved it :)

Then I spoke to them, like one of those heart-to-heart talks with them because they were behaving like rascals on the first day.

Then I said sth I shouldn't have said in a million years :O

and I felt really bad so I went to apologise to Dana, but she said it was ok.

I hope so :(

Had night trail, which the guides found a bit boring. We wanted better games, but because of restrictions we couldn't.

Watched UP, which then a lot of pple complained that they watched it b4.

Showered, debriefed them and did night duty.

Which I kinda slacked of on the first day cos' I accidentally fell asleep and didn't wake up till morning.

Day 2

Woke up, made breakfast for the guides. Did knots and lashes with them, I hope you've taken sth home :)

Had joint act. with the Red Cross, which didn't turn out as planned, since sec1s were a bit lethargic.

The games in the sun made it even worse, as a lot of pple chose to stay in the shade.

So we gave them a 5 min break.

And they went off for lunch.

After lunch, went to KEC, which was a BIG improvement for the whole camp, as everyone enjoyed themselves.

Valentina went along with us ;)

Played bowling, but it was kinda awkward with *uhem* there.

Some of the sec1s have really good attitudes, and I really like that about them :)

Some are really nice too, but not all of them brought the right attitude to camp.

Returned back, had dinner with them.

and then had pre-campfire games.(:

Which was super awesome, the PSes did a great job.



Then CAMPFIRE!

which turned out not as good as last year, but fairly well.

but sec1s, where is your enthusiasm!?

and not many seniors came because I completely screwed up the date for the campfire.

had supper, bathed (unlimited time for us!) and did night duty.

which I messed up again because Dana tried really hard to wake me up for it but I just couldn't get me butt off the sleeping bag.

So she had to do it alone.

Day 3

Normal routine, then had clean-up, which the sec1s did quite well :)

I went for the surabuya briefing.

Then had prize presentation (which I missed) and the seniors stayed back to read what they worte about the camp.

Quite a number said it was fun, and a few said it was ok and could be better.

At first I thought it was unsuccessful, but after reading their comments, I felt a lot better :)

Thanks guys, everyone and esp the PLC :D

went home very tired.



I will not post about my trip but all I can say is that I miss Seattle and Alaska very much :(



SASM then :)

Arrived in school 1/2 late, because of the jam because of the rain.

Got into groups, wasn't __________, but then it became better.

Had ice-breakers, and the sound we were supposed to make was gorilla, and I wasn't going to go around shouting ooh ooh ah ah so I just shouted gorilla! gorilla! over and over again.

Which sounded kinda stupid but I felt that ooh ooh ah ah was worse.

I groped around in my blindfold for quite some time before finding yuanjia first, whew.

Then we found all the girls but we couldn't find th boys, haha :)

We were named Mulberry!



Went off for 1st station, which we had to carry bags of water with a partner with a small piece of garbage bag over our heads. The more we transport, the more water we can splash at our opponents.

It was quite lame at first, but the splashing water part was the best :)

Got a bit wet.

The tension btw th SA boys and SM girls was near tangible at first, bt it became better.

We won this station :)



2nd station, pingpong treasure hunt. I wasn't really good at it, but it was fun, because we poured water over LukChing's group. Haha sorry guys :x

Won this too :)



3rd station, yasira's flourey station. It was fun, but gross, because I ate a lot of flour, which wasn't paradise.

Haha but I loved her station :D

Won this too :)



4th station, this throwing ball over the net game. Which I wasn't really good at it either, but it was fun (:

then sth embarassing happened. lol wouldn't say it :x

___was kinda left out but I tried my best to include her..

We lost this :(



5th station, this transferring water with our diff body parts game. Mine was the knee, hard huh?

I couldn't help noticing sth. Yea push that right out of your head Amanda.



6th station, which was super duper fun as well, was eating the apple till it came off the line station.

Haha it was super fun :D

And I bit on the apple and _________.

*uhem*



Then we had this dress to impress thing after lunch, which we went to eat at Mac's.

It was really funny, and our seniors came back, but I don't really know them so yea.

R-man rocks alright!?

But the comp was really good, they walked down a makeshift runway, and did like stupid poses, really sporting of the models :D

Then they had to do a dance as well.

Some of the costumes were really creative, like the high heels one.

The Monkey God was wearing a makeshift bikini, what..?!

Haha but it was really fun, I enjoyed it a lot, and I'm sure everyone did too (:



Went to learning lab for reflections and a description of the prefect board in SA.

Strict huh? We so need to buck up :D

Did reflections, presented it, wasn't reallty helpful up there, haha.

How can you not love Veno? :)

Prize presentation, where Mulberry got 2nd! :D

Food as prizes (:

Debrief by seniors, they said stuff about BGR, how we should make friends but not the worng kind, and hoped that we enjoyed ourselves etc. They said we would understand when we get to JC.

Some of trhe seniors dressed rather *uhem*.

Ended with prefects cheer.



Through the whole evnt today, sometimes I felt a bit left out and wishing that G3 or Amelia was there.

BUt overall I had fun of course, and that;s what matters :)

Besides taking sth home :D

I started to notice _________, and now I trying not to anymore.

Like how um, someone is, I didn't know she was so obsessed until I _________.

I heard _____say something about SA.

A few SM girls were *uhem* too. I could tell.

This is just the stage where the hormones start to kick in, and people just start noticing other people too.

But all of us should know that this is the wrong time to do that, your know very well, after all the sexuality talks we had and me giving the presentation about the to date or not to date thing, hahahahaah :D
Sometimes I feel as though I don't want to grow up. I like how I am now.

Parents say you should appreciate the time in school, because in the working world, its a heckload of "fun".

Seniors say that too, because once we leave SMSS, we'll miss it terribly, and I know i will too.

Now what looms ahead is just the Os,nothing else.

I don't want to imagine myself anywhere else but NJC or ACSI.

I can't imagine it and I really hope i don't have to.

The prospects ahead are dreadful, I should just enjoy my sec3 life now, because soon it will be sec4 and then the results day.

I wanna be happy on my results day, I really do.

And i know everyone else wants to too.:)

So SM girls out there, push those people out of your minds and start focussing on what is and will be important to you.

Its your future, and you can decide how you want to run it, or ruin it.

It's all up to you.
I've been thinking a lot about becoming vegetarian, esp when Sharminii told me about how she became one and I started reading articles about it. AND how healthy it is.

But parents say that it is an absolute NO-NO because "you're losing a very vital part of your protein intake and you won't be able to grow well".

Hey, who can blame a girl for wanting to "BE THE CHANGE I WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD".

which is like kinda my motto now :D

This has been a very long post and though I want to post somemore, I will stop here. :D
