Wow haven't posted for a really long time (:

Many things have happened over the new year.

I'm now a confirmed prefect. So that's a good thing. But the thing news that made my heart drop right to the pit of my stomach was that I'm not in the Exco.

I knew I totally screwed up my interview, hmmm let's see, this is how it went:

Me: Good Afternoon.

Teacher: So, Amanda, you just joined the board, why do you think your friends nominated you for this post?

That's when all the nonsensical, stupid, foolish, wrong things came out.

Me: Oh, I think its because perhaps they see that I have been doing my job well, and so maybe that's why they nominated me for this position.

Teacher: Do you think you have been doing your duty well?

Me: I think I've been doing my duty quite well, as I try to put in my best effort in whatever I do.

[Wrong thing to say No.1]

Teacher: Oh, how badly do you want this?

Me: I would like to join the Exco.

Teacher: What are you going to do when you join the Exco?

Me: I'll probably bring the PB to greater heights, and change everyone's impression of the PB, because actually some people find us a nuisance, and so that is what I want to do.

[Wrong thing to say No.2]

{I start to notice the silence that ensues from all the teachers and know I made a bloody mistake just starting the interview in the first place}

There were many other worng things I said, making me sound like some sort of power-hungry moron.

Teacher: Thank you.

Me: Thank you.

That's totally my face now.

Well done Amanda, now all you've achieved is make yourself like a complete fool in front of the teachers and Exco, and now the Exco thinks I'm an arrogant, proud, bigheaded, overconfident, conceited, egoistic brat.

yippee.

Nicole and Dana were really happy that they didn't get in. lol (:

The big dread and heavy weight in my stomach is because of deja vu that happened exactly during the prefect interview.

Sigh.

And especially when I kept on enphasising that I've feel that I've been doing my job quite well, that was the worst mistake of all.

Where did my humility go!? Goodness gracious me.

Little upset now.

The thing that I'm disappointed about is that a PIT - HE got in, so why didn't I?

And I'm speculating that the reason is because I sounded conceited and bigheaded.

I should have brought a needle along to poke the arrongant air inside my head.

And of the Exco will prob think that is the reason why I'm not that close to many people in the PB.

YX, Y, M, D, NC, TE got in too.

I knew they would, but I thought the last person would be me.

I was kinda shocked that LS didn't get in though, poor her.

So I was triumphed. But I should've expected this.

There was this little follish part of me THINKING and HOPING that I would get in, when I knew that the interview was disastrous in the first place.

How stupid of me, I should've knew it all along.

Sigh. Again.

Oh well. Life goes on.

J DIDN'T GET IN!? OMGoodness. WHY!?

I'm stunned.

NEVER MIND BACK TO MINI YOG MAN WHOOOOOOO.

It was really fun, but bossaball was so short mannnn. ):

3min. Pathetic!

I confiscated a phone today. WOWIE WHOOPIE MAN. Haha.

IT was from the class I'm in charge of. A repeat student.

I'd better watch out for her, in case she does anything to me.

She begged me at first to let her off her, but I flat out refused.

And I suspect she took out her SIM card.

But she got this really big scolding from Mr Ang, I've never seen him so fierce before.

COOL MAN :D

Played bossaball, Jovin nearly smashed my glasses. But Haha its ok.

Then water soccer! It was really rough, violent and painful.

I couldn't get into the arena at first, so embarassing.

And I used my hand, malu again!

BUT AINUR AND MY TEAM WERE SO AWESOME.

Esp. Ainur, she went all out man, she's so awesome. (:

And jue hui as well, and nadiah. OMGGG, I LOVE MAH TEAM (:

Yea I kinda got really tired at the end, after falling down 4-5 times and nearly breaking my back for one time, I felt really thirsty, I didn't know it would be so tiring!!

But yea I was super awesome fun fun fun anyway ;D

WE WON! 1 -0 (: And we shook hands with the other team, that's what I call sportsmanship mannnn. Great game everyone :]

Belinda's team was darn funny, all of them tried to get in at the same time, and all of them fell down, I was laughing my head off at them weirdos.

Poor Jiajia. She fell down like a million times and was the wettest. But everyone played great, I LOVE COOKE!!

They won the 2nd game, and third we lost.

But we won water soccer overall! WHOO :D

But Kris was really pissed at someone. CHILL MAN, relax, its just a game, hehe.

Handball was fun to watch, I wished I played though. Cooke came in 3rd, lost the first and won the 2nd.

Sherone, even though you weren't the best player, cheer up alright and dry up those tears, its all about having fun! (:

They were supposed to play the second game, but some people took over.

COOKE HAD TO BE ROUGHER MAN, but its okay great game everyone! (:

Bowling was last. Our team did reasonably well. Good job (:

Mini YOG was really fun, SMSS is awesome. ^^

Cooke came in second for cheerleading and overall. I shouted myself hoarse. (:

Fearon came in first (BOOOOO!), Tolley third and Gage Brown 4th.

Tolley won the Cheerleading comp, same as last year's sports day.

Oh well, its ok as long as everyone had fun, its ok its alright (:

Awesome day overall, besides the Exco thing.

But Mum is a bit relieved, she said that I have more time to study.

Which I should not, heh.

OK then.
